Primary Care physician needed for full-time coverage at FCI Oakdale (Corrections)
Job description
Facility located in Oakdale, LA (2 hours south of Monroe/Shreveport area)
o Start date is dependent on completion of credentialing and background/security clearance
o Tentative credentialing timeframe: 4-5 weeks
- Weekly schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Average 15 patients per day, all adults
o 20 minute standard Primary Care visits
o 30 minute chronic care visits
- Facility uses EMR
- Initial 6-month, with the ability to extend coverage
- Travel and lodging available
- Basic Primary Care and Chronic Cases with some light suturing cases
