The facility has 4 ORs, typically running 3 rooms, occasionally 4, and sometimes only 2. Cases include ENT, one day of pediatrics (tonsils and tubes), general ortho scopes, knee replacements, plastics, shoulders, knees, wrists, and some spine procedures involving nerve work. Providers need to perform blocks for orthopedics, though accommodations may be possible if they cannot. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM, with cases generally starting between 7 and 7:30 AM. This is an MD-only setup, with no CRNAs currently, as the focus is on covering dates with physicians. The EMR system used is Mednet Oasis.
