About the clinician's workday

The schedule includes clinic, call, or both, with a 1:5 to 1:6 call ratio shared with another OB/GYN. Outpatient clinics average 30-40 patients daily, with 90-100 deliveries per month and 125 new OB patients monthly across 4-5 providers. Major GYN cases are scrubbed with two MDs, and robotic surgery is available. The hospital supports VBACs, has in-house anesthesia, birthing suites, surgical suites for C-sections, neonatal transport, and IBCLC support. Roles include OB Hospitalist (with GYN), OB/GYN outpatient, or Traditional OB/GYN. An EMR system and full support staff are provided.

• Case load/PPD: Outpatient clinic is average 30-40 patients a day for a mix of OB/GYN. 30 patients in an OB clinic only.
• Support staff: OR staff supports minor cases, major GYN cases are scrubbed with 2 MDs. They encourage VBACs and have in-house anesthesia.
